Anistream: Running at anistream.one; new in 2026

The best Anistream alternative in 2026

Anistream is a small anime site that reached FMHY in May 2026. It runs at anistream.one, and other sites use the same name on different domains.

The short answer

Anistream works at anistream.one, but it is new, small and, by its own account, still filling its catalogue, and other sites share its name. If a show is missing, Rotten Brains is free, needs no account, and lists anime with every season and episode.

What's going on with Anistream?

FMHY added anistream.one on 10 May 2026, tagged sub, dub and auto-next, and gave it a star on 15 August 2026. Its domain has not changed since. The site advertises AniList sync, automatic intro and outro skipping and an airing schedule, and says its catalogue is smaller than older sites such as 9Anime, Aniwave or HiAnime and still growing.

It is a small site. Similarweb counts about 445,000 visits over three months, a global rank around #53,281 and a 7.64% drop in August 2026, with about 41% of visits from the US. Sites using the AniStream name also sit on anistream.live, anistream.online and a vercel.app address; FMHY lists only anistream.one.

Every title is checked against several sources before you press play, and the player starts on the one that answers first.

If a source stalls, the player tries the next one and picks up where you were. You can still pick one yourself from the settings menu, with a note on which ones carry extra audio languages or subtitles.

Subtitles come from more than one source, so most titles have several versions per language. If the first one is out of sync with the video, the next one usually is not.

Many get lined up with the dialogue automatically when you pick them, and there is a delay slider for the rest.
