Anikoto: Running, with sister site AnimeSuge

The best Anikoto alternative in 2026

Anikoto is still running at anikototv.to, next to its sister site AnimeSuge (Anisuge). Both keep official domain lists because their addresses get taken down, blocked or copied.

The short answer

Anikoto is up, but it and AnimeSuge have lost domains to DMCA takedowns, run into internet-provider blocks and gone down several times in 2026, and copies use the Anikoto name. If you want a backup for the days both are down, Rotten Brains is free, needs no account, and stays at one address.

What's going on with Anikoto?

Anikoto and AnimeSuge share one Telegram channel, and most of their history is told there. On 15 September 2024 it said animesuge.be had been taken down by DMCA and the site had moved to animesugetv.to. On 27 November 2024, with AnimeSuge's episode updates broken, it pointed people to Anikoto for ongoing anime. In March 2025 it said Disqus had removed its comments and banned the site, so it built its own comment system.

On 31 December 2025 the channel said animesuge.bz had been taken down due to DMCA, and the site moved to anisuge.tv, then to animesuge.cz in January 2026. FMHY added Anikoto on 25 January 2026 without a star, starred it on 15 August 2026, and on 30 August listed it as "Anikoto or Anisuge" with the anikoto.site domain hub.

2026 has been bumpy. A backup, animesuge.re, went up in March for people who could not reach animesuge.cz. In July the channel said some users could not load animesuge.cz, most likely because internet providers were blocking it. In August a disk failure on AnimeSuge's main server cost it its quality options, and the channel also reported server downtime in April and June and a video-server failure in September. All of it was fixed, and on 23 September 2026 both sites and both domain hubs answered.

The Anikoto hub warns that fake sites copy its branding to skim traffic and login details. Domains such as anikoto.com.co and anikoto.sx are not on its official list.

If a source stalls, the player tries the next one and picks up where you were. You can still pick one yourself from the settings menu, with a note on which ones carry extra audio languages or subtitles.

Subtitles come from more than one source, so most titles have several versions per language. If the first one is out of sync with the video, the next one usually is not.

Questions

Are Anikoto and AnimeSuge the same site?

They are sister sites. They share a Telegram channel, AnimeSuge has pointed its users to Anikoto, and FMHY lists them together as "Anikoto or Anisuge".

Which Anikoto domains are official?

Its domain hub, anikoto.site, lists the official mirrors, and FMHY links anikototv.to with animesuge.cz as the second domain. The hub warns about copies; anikoto.com.co and anikoto.sx are not on its list.

Why will AnimeSuge not load for me?

In July 2026 its channel said internet providers were most likely blocking animesuge.cz, and animesuge.re was published in March as a backup. If both sites are out, Rotten Brains checks several sources for every title and switches by itself when one fails.
