PressPlay: Running as PressPlayZ at pressplayz.to

The best PressPlay alternative in 2026

PressPlay is still running, rebranded as PressPlayZ at pressplayz.to. Its old pressplay.top and pressplay.cam addresses redirect there.

The short answer

PressPlay still works under the name PressPlayZ, at pressplayz.to. It has one main player rather than a choice of servers, and FMHY says it has no episode auto-next. If you want a backup for TV nights, Rotten Brains is free, needs no account to watch and does not change address.

What's going on with PressPlay (PressPlayZ)?

PressPlay was already a starred pick at pressplay.top when the current history of FMHY, a popular community index of free sites, begins on 7 August 2024. FMHY removed the star on 11 November 2024, added pressplay.cam as a second domain on 21 December 2024, and took the site off its streaming list on 9 July 2025, in a restructure that gave no reason for the removal.

It came back on 11 September 2026 under a new name. FMHY re-listed it, starred, in its Dedicated-Server section as PressPlayZ at pressplayz.to, now with anime as well as movies and TV. On 23 September 2026 both old addresses redirected to the new one.

Its selling point is a single player that FMHY says 'can't fail', because the site removes broken links, so there is no server list to work through. FMHY's grading gives it 15 out of 18, marking down the lack of episode auto-next and noting occasional new-tab pop-ups.

Every title is checked against several sources before you press play, and the player starts on the one that answers first.

If a source stalls, the player tries the next one and picks up where you were. You can still pick one yourself from the settings menu, with a note on which ones carry extra audio languages or subtitles.
