1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of rotten-brains.com(the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy and our Legal Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Your Account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity on your account.
• One person, one account. Do not share, sell, or transfer accounts.
• You may delete your account at any time from your settings; this removes your profile and personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. User Content

You can publish reviews, posts, comments, playlists, and a profile ("User Content"). You keep ownership of your User Content. By posting it you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display it on the Service so other users can see it. You are responsible for what you post: no content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or spam. We may remove User Content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

• No attempting to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• No scraping, bulk-downloading, or automated access without our written permission.
• No circumventing rate limits, ads, or access controls.
• No using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Streaming & Third-Party Content

The Service does not host, upload, or store movies or TV shows. Video content reachable through the Service is provided by third-party services we do not control. See the Legal Disclaimer for details, including our DMCA takedown process. Title metadata and artwork are provided by TMDB; this product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

6. Free Tier, Ads & Premium

The Service is free to use and is supported by advertising served to free accounts. Premium accounts remove ads and enable extra convenience features. Premium is currently granted by the operator directly and is not sold through the site; no payments are processed on the Service. We may change what is included in each tier at any time.

7. Availability & Changes

The Service is a small independent project provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Features may change, break, or be removed, and the Service may be interrupted or discontinued at any time without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or exposure to third-party content.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above; continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
