    Jacob James Ward is a London-born, Manchester-based filmmaker, writer, and director whose work blends cinematic storytelling with raw authenticity. A proud working-class creative and BA (Hons) Filmmaking student at Manchester Metropolitan University, Jacob brings a grounded perspective to the screen - transforming everyday stories into visually striking, emotionally resonant experiences. His independent mid-length feature 'Fallowfield' premiered to a private audience at HOME Cinema in 2025, earning recognition on IMDb and Letterboxd. Beyond narrative filmmaking, Jacob has built a versatile portfolio spanning live broadcast, music, music videos and documentary production, with credits including StreamGM’s Spill the Sound and the London Music Showcase. Equally confident behind the camera or in the edit suite, he’s skilled in cinematography, sound, and post-production. Rooted in collaboration and creative independence, Jacob is driven by a belief that film should both move and matter.
